In a recent list published by a leading car magazine regarding the 59′ Plate sales, both Ford and Vauxhall occupied four out of the top ten places.
The list revealed the sales figures during the popular 59′ plate launch month – and the top half of the list looked like this:
Top 10 best-sellers for September 2009:
1 Ford Fiesta
2 Vauxhall Corsa
3 Ford Focus
4 Vauxhall Astra
Both Ford and Vauxhall seem to be doing particularly well at the present moment – the Ford Fiesta has had a particularly good year, the new Corsa has also seen great success and now the new Vauxhall Astra has also received rave reviews.
Ford seem to have come out slightly better in this sales list – but Vauxhall are never far behind. When it comes to the hatchback marketplace these manufacturers certainly seem to be a prominent force!
